Review from the wine Nove Queipos Treixadura DO Ribeiro 2015:
Thanks to a friend who introduced us we had the pleasure of knowing this good white Ribeiro made with grape of the variety Treixadura by the orensana winery Solaina Minei SL located in Castrelo de Miño.
We are facing a young, very aromatic wine where the treixadura grape shows its sweetness and good work in these white Ribeiros.
In sight is a bright wine with golden color and greenish yellow.
It is in the nose where you can appreciate the potential of the very aromatic treixadura grape with its characteristic touch.
In the mouth it is delicate, persistent, although it has to be taken to a suitable temperature that is placed between the 8 and 10 ºC, personally I even prefer some degree less.
Ideal to share any dish of fish or seafood, in our case we tasted it with some cheeses (despite the tradition says it has to be made with red wines) and we liked it very much.
As an impression, as it rose in graduation (temperature) it became a bit cloying, so it should not pass 10ºC.
The wine "Nove Queipos Treixadura" is a clear exponent of how well things are being done in the area of the denomination of origin Ribeiro, where, in my opinion, many wines already outnumber the albariños in the south.
