Review the wine Dehesa of the Canonigos Ribera del Duero:
We met a few days ago due to one of the tastings we like to make our group of friends. We are facing a great wine from the Ribera del Duero.
It takes its name from one of the most historic of the Ribera del Duero farms.
Located on the Golden Mile, at the time belonged to the Cabildo of the Cathedral of Valladolid which consisted of 22 monks canons.
With a price of around 16 to 18 euros per bottle and outstanding quality.
It was the best of the tasting made this day.
It is a blend of tempranillo and cabernet and excellently assembled a remarkable 15 months aging in American oak barrels of medium toast and fine grain.
In this vintage of 2012 160.000 bottles were bottled.
It is an expressive nose and very tasty on the palate, very persistent and pleasant wine.
Aromatic and smooth. A pleasant surprise.
Recommended undoubtedly.
