Review Red Wine Casa Moreiras:
We are facing a typical wine of the Ribeira Sacra where the Mencia grape and the heroic viticulture on the banks of the Sil and Miño rivers are a tradition.
In fact we are looking at the oldest winery in Galicia, founded in 1692.
This is attested by the text printed on each of its bottles:
"In the year 1692 inicióse in this house very noble task of producing wines of the hand of the illustrious D Pedro R. Moreiras of Pombeiro from the highly regarded mencía collected in our own vineyards of the Sil and Minho rivers"
In our opinion, this is one of the best mencías of the appellation of origin.
An excellent, very expressive and with great persistence and taste wine.
Ideal for roasts, stews, sausages, steaks ... etc.
Red Wine Casa Moreiras. Ribeira Sacra. Spain
The most expressive than we have found in grape Mencia.
